  This place is a classic southern Maine fried seafood joint that's been around for eons. Plan on sharing plates, unless you're a giant fat disgusting slob, because the portions are immense. Also don't come expecting to see a vegetable anywhere on the premises...This place is what it is and it IS where you get piles of fried clams, fried scallops, fried haddock, fried whatever on top of a pile of fried... French fries. The Cole slaw is decent, but definitely SKIP THE CLAM CHOWDER. Hands down worst clam chowder I've ever had, which this places ought to be ashamed of. And it's so easy to fix too. Too bad. Definitely worth a stop if you've never had a true Maine fried seafood platter, though there are better places if you want to look harder and drive a little further.

  Friendly staff, amazing food! Very comfortable environment. However, didn't love the strand of hair in my fries. But will definitely be back soon.
